Gold Award

Yu Gao-Fei (National University of Singapore)

Learnseeker is a 1-1 home tuition platform providing high quality tutors offline and online through an innovative accreditation system.

Gao-Fei is the founder of the platform and has raised $60,000 in seed capital from angel investors and NUS Enterprise to develop and market the product. The company has 6-figure annual revenues in 2017 and 2018.

As a result, Learnseeker has been able to facilitate and pay out over $100,000 in fees to tutors on its platform. The startup is also incubated by The Hangar @ NUS Enterprise and Furnace.

Silver Award

Amanda Ho (Singapore University of Social Sciences)

Amanda is the co-founder of CombineSell, a Software as a Service (SaaS) platform that simplifies multi-channel e-commerce selling processes by aggregating popular online marketplaces into just a single platform.

With CombineSell, e-commerce entrepreneurs are enabled to sell everywhere their customers shop, in a much simpler fashion.

CombineSell was acquired in 2019.

Eng Qing Hua (National University of Singapore)

Believing in creating healthy living lifestyles among Singaporeans, Qing Hua founded Kombynation, which brews and produces artisanal kombuchas blended with superfruits.

His role includes business development, growing the company’s revenue, and building its website to reach out to more customers.
